The Champions Course
This Bunker Hill designed course is scheduled to open in the fall of 2009. Architects Dan Proctor and Dave Axland have used the twisted knots of mountain laurel, rock outcroppings and gentle wildflower meadows to dictate the flow of play.
For residents of Blue Ridge Golf & River Club, the Club Membership initiation deposit is included in the cost of the homesite. A limited number of Club Memberships will also be made available to non-residents.
We are proud to welcome Dave Axland and Dan Proctor who have recently worked with principal partner Pete Bailey Jr. on two renowned courses, Cuscowilla on Lake Oconee and Old Sandwich Club in Plymouth, MA. While working on numerous projects with Coore and Crenshaw, Dave and Dan have developed a hands-on approach to the design and construction of spectacular golf courses. Among several courses Dan and Dave designed and built exclusively is Wild Horse in Gothenburg, Nebraska, which ranked 25th in Golf Week's 2006 Top 100 Modern Courses. Blue Ridge Golf & River Club, when completed, will be another special place to play golf.
